Larry is a seasoned professional with 46 years of experience in the sales of motor oil lubricants. His journey into the industry began in an unexpected yet serendipitous way—while working as a carpenter, he was recommended for a job in the Syracuse, NY market by a Pennzoil employee for whom he was building a kitchen. Since then, Larry has dedicated his career to mastering the art of sales in the motor oil industry.

Outside of work, Larry enjoys a variety of hobbies including golfing, camping, fishing, and carpentry. He’s also a shade tree mechanic, always tinkering and refining his skills. Larry’s hands-on approach to life mirrors his dedication to his craft, making him a valuable asset to our team.

Lee Rhodus
Position: Sales Specialist

After earning a Bachelor of Science from Keuka College, I spent 12 years in the healthcare industry before discovering a passion for sales, particularly in fuel treatments. My journey into this field began with a part-time role, eventually leading me to work at an equipment show in Rochester as a manufacturer's representative for Deckman Oil. A few months after that event, Deckman Oil officially hired me on May 12, 2014. Since joining Deckman Oil Company in 2014, I've proudly dedicated over a decade to this industry, combining my experience at Deckman and my previous roles.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my wife of 20 years and our two teenage sons. I'm an avid hunter, enjoy camping, and love playing cards and shooting.

Jon Hinton
Position: Regional Sales Representative

Jon Hinton is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of experience in the lubrication sales, distribution operations, and marketing industry. A high school graduate, Jon began his journey with Deckman Oil at the young age of 16, starting with after-school and summer warehouse work. Over the past two and a half decades, Jon has worn many "hats" within the company, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in various aspects of the business.

Currently, Jon has settled into his role as a Regional Sales Representative, where he serves the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes area with dedication and passion. Outside of work, Jon enjoys motorcycle riding, gardening, and hunting.
